I've trained up my 6 Amiibos I currently have. My Villager, Samus, and Wii Fit Trainer are all Level 50 now. And they're pretty tough to beat especially my Wii Fit Trainer. But I'm coming along with Marth, Link, and Fox. They're all about mid level right now. I will teach my Fox to stand at the edge and spam Blaster until an opponent closes in on him.

Oh. I forgot. I'm also gonna get Rosalina and Luma.

I fed my Samus a pair of shoes the other day. I thought it was odd, but she seemed to enjoy it, so I'm not going to judge her life choices. I just hope Mario doesn't get mad at her for eating all of his stuff.

@Sakurai, I heared that your thinking that this will be the last ssb game that "you" would work on?

I'm glad Sakurai mentions that. Since I usually don't have any custom parts that have negative effects. On my Amiibos or custom versions of characters. But I'll have be a little risky if I wanna have a stronger, faster, or more defensive Amiibo. I'll make a mental note if that next time I make another Figure Player.

There's one thing I'm really curious about: what happens when an amiibo already has three bonus effects on them, and you try to give them a fourth? Do you pick which one to overwrite? Is it random? I'm afraid to give my amiibo any bonuses because I have no idea how it works.

Sakurai said PotD would continue through 2014, and I would never put a negative effect like that one on an amiibo.

Hey, how bout that. I just bought some amiibos last night and today's PotD is about amiibos. What a weird coiencidence. Granted, I will be displaying them as collectables and not use them for Smash, but this is still a pretty cool mechanic for Nintendo games. Can't wait til the Pit, Palutena, Toon Link, Falco and Rosalina amiibos come out. They're my mains along with Link :)

I personally think that even after Friday Sakurai won't stop posting pics of the day, Even though he is posting stuff we already know, he might still have hints and tips for us, and he might also post the silly photo studio pics he was promising a while back, so he should keep posting until he wants to finish posting.

Nintendo, you're dropping the ball with your distribution of amiibo's... retailers in Canada don't even have a set date for the 2nd wave and pre-orders are sold out everywhere. The exclusive retailer amiibo's are gonna' be a huge nightmare for anyone wanting them all. I'd ask for amiibo's for Christmas if It wasn't such a hassle to track them down... Anyway, please sort it out!

I have "Fierce Oni" (my Link amiibo) on the maximum level, he won in a 8-player Smash against Lv.9 opponents (all by himself). At that's not all, I can't even beat him in one to one! O_O He grow so fast... :'D

I don't get the appeal of raising the amiibo (especially if they're going to have special stats), however I love having real life smash bros. trophies.

Can you use your Amiibo as an assistant in Classic Mode?

I usually choose NOT to give them stat boosts. It feels more fair if I can fight them with equal stats and normal abilities.

This is Pokemón on a whole new different level. I really want one of Falco, Marth, & Zero Suit Samus. GOTTA HAVE THEM ALL! I also want to see a Mr. Game & Watch amiibo.

It may be a while before I can afford a Wii-U, but contemplating which Amiibos to get while I'm waiting...not a bad idea.:)

"Feeding" them, training them, making sure to clean up after them, bathing them, having them play nice with others, and giving them love. THE RESPONSIBILITY!! Awwww, who's my little Meta Knight? Who's my little speedy sword-swinging, masked blue ball? That's right! It's you! It's so you! Eehehehe!

Well, considering there's a maximum of +120 you can share between all three stats no matter the effects, there actually isn't any sort of benefit to having red effects on the Amiibo once you max it out. Change them to all positive ones once you get to that point.

I'm quite surprised by how much feistier the Amiibos are compared to Lvl 9 Cpus, it took me several attempts to beat my Lvl 50 Yoshi.
