Are EV boosting items broken or can they only be used on specific Pokemon? I tried to use a Protein on my Breloom but it didn't work. It's Attack EV's are far from 252 and its EVs overall are far from 510... Its also not because the item gives 10 points and there's no room for that, I used multiple Pomeg Berries and it still doesn't work

    It worked on my Groudon who is about half way through being fully trained
