So I was shiny hunting in Granite Cave, using horde battles as my method. I wanted a shiny Aron but instead found a shiny Zubat. Not the greatest colors, but since it's the first shiny I've ever obtained (shiny event Beldum doesn't count), I can't complain.

    @Tali never really used Belly Drum in a set before (not that I've been doing this for a long time anyways.) I feel like it's hard to get it off and survive an attack right after. @Keiran Don't forget a special attacker, too. You'll leave yourself open like that :P

    You can leave it out if you want and get some walls but if they have some physical walls you're going to have a tough time taking them down. It's not really set in stone, though, so you can be creative with it. My special attackers that I have trained currently are Rotom and Sylveon, though Sylveon is oddly enough has great special attack AND special defense...

    I'm surprised your Umbreon wasn't able to take them out, then! I've been trying to think of a good type for all three of 'em for some time now but all I can come back to is your Entei with dig or something

    I only knew at the time that fire and fighting were the only strength against steel. I didn't know about, like, ground type moves. This old guy was tough. I had over 60 continues and he used Registeel everytime.

    Now I want to try to beat him, see how tough he is. I used all three Regis in the Battle Tower countless times and lost with 'em, so he's no doubt better than me there XS

    I dunno... I mean, they're just kinda the neutral guys. Maybe an ability that makes them super-effective against Ghost types (and I don't mean Scrappy).

    Well, I know all about Shadow Pokemon and purification (I've seen through both games). Just didn't realize you could get the beasts in the game. Does that mean you can trade them to Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald!?
