Arigato Sakurai-san. You and your team worked exceptionally hard bringing these games to us all. And while I'm sure we all are sad to see the Pic of the Day come to an end, I for one am glad you (and your team) allowed us to join you on, what I consider to be, a wild ride all the way to Smash. Good Luck with future projects Sakurai-sama, and take a vacation. You've earned it!

Smash bros. is for me without a doubt my favorite franchise of all time. Thank you for putting your heart and soul into all four of theese games and soon the ones in the future. Smash bros. (melee) was the game that made me want to become a game designer and helped me get my passion for gaming. After you're done with Mewtwo, take a long and needed break, you deserve it.

Sakurai, you created the greatest game franchise of all time (two great franchises in fact), you deserve a break, but don't stop with just Mewtwo, I know DLC wasn't intended for this game but with Mewtwo and the Miiverse stage, I would like to AT LEAST see more stages as DLC. Characters take a long time yeah, but stages would be a nice way to empty our bank accounts.

Yeah, it's been one heck of a ride. My friends and I often stayed up to around 3 a.m. just to see what the new PotD was, trying to guess just what (or even more so, who) was gonna show up. I've actually learned a lot about the process of revealing things while also trying to avoid spoilers. Congrats on the world wide release, and thanks for all the hard work you guys put in!

Thanks for the amazing game and Mewtwo in the future. I hope once that's over, you can get some relaxation. And thanks for all the posts, too. I'll continue to settle it in Smash.

I don't have much to say about this, other than that I'll miss waiting for the pic and discussing it with everybody. I guess I'm here just so I can say I was here until the end.

WOW, kinda wondered where the japanese version of this game was. Kinda figured it was released a few days before the english version i.e. the music for it coming out before the game.

This was a fun ride, even though it may not be completely over yet. Thank you Sakurai for these 2 amazing games, and once you are finished with these last bits (Tournament Mode, Mewtwo, Sharing, and Miiverse stage), I hope you and your team take a nice, long vacation, you really deserve it! If this really is the last Smash though, I say these games are the best way to end it. Thank you Sakurai!

Classic Ridley as roster DLC, please. Sakuris excuses for his exclusion contradict the current roster. Nt ony that but instead of filling in clone slots with Lucas or Wolf, he went with a bias inclusion in Dark Pit. Uncalled for. Hopefully it's true you Sakurai wont be doing Smash 5. Maybe DK, Metroid, and other franchises that were pushed aside for his bias will get some love... in 6 years. :/
