    They are very lenient, so can mess up any VGC or Official Banlist battler's game a bit... Though I do like the idea of seperat metagames.

    I dont mind (it prevents OP pokemon from defeating you 6 to 0) as long as they don't disconnect when my pokemon doesnt have a Smogon moveset

    I couldn't care less about Smogon c: I just battle with the pokemon that I like (that aren't legends) and I give them the movesets I think make the most sense for them. <3

    Yes I agree they can help, but i like to battle with MY pokemon :] And no i dont use OP ones too. But I hate the idea of following specific rules ]: My advice: play as you like ^_^

    If you dont like them, just don't follow or use them. If someone challenges you asking for Smogon rules, just decline. If there's someone asking people in general for a Smogon rules battle but not you specifically, just ignore them. Its an optional ruleset that some people play by thats only enforced on the Smogon server, no reason to hate on them for that
