    Keep trying! If you can, do a quest with multiple zinogres. If you have access to g-rank, the zinogres there have a better chance of giving you one.

    i told my brother to get ultra lucky cat and do the 2 zinogre mission over and over. he now walks around with 5 unnecessarily obtained zinogre jaspers.

    I havent gotten those high rank quests for Zinorge yet. Plus i cant seem to get the Crazy Lucky or just Lucky perks all the time when i need them. I just only need one for a weapon upgrade.

    Its like trying to retrieve the wyvern stones back in the previos Monster Hunter game. Can't seem to get it.

    yeah i don't think you get jaspers until you hit grank(correct me if im wrong) but getting ultra lucky cat increases the % of rare items. (fresh fish and ale should get you it) So getting that may increase your chances of getting it up to 10% (better than 2%)

    Jaspers are a high rank, but they are slightly more common at g rank. The g rank exclusive item is a Skymerald. Cut and carve the tail, collect shiny drops, break the horns, and then carve the body. Capturing is actually worse for Zinogre's rare drop.

    Noted. So just don't capture it then. Get the Lucky Cat perks. Get on high ranked. And possibly hunt two of them to increase chances. Just hope i don't get the Flurbbug's while doing that instead of the jasper's.
