Captain Toad, and the main Toad from games like Super Mario Bros. 2 are not the same Toad? Then who's Captain Toad? Red Toad? It's almost like Nabbit. Or, like Bandana Waddle Dee from Kirby. The significance is simply their headgear. And there're all playable on a console game! Except Bandana Waddle Dee is a Waddle Dee. Not a mystery then... Whatever. There're all cool.

These games are so dang addicting! I rememer seeing the trailer for the first NES Remix, being absolutely floored, and going out to download it as quickly as I could! I can't wait to see what the future of these games could be! (Game Boy Remix? SNES Remix?) Oh, and finding out that Captain Toad is not THE Toad ruined my headcanon. =/
