Why monster info (name, resources, etc.) is not shown while on quests? I just got it and I'm already hating the GUI, lol.

    because this is monster hunter. monster hunter does not hold your hand and walk u through the game. u gotta put blood, sweat, and tears into monster hunter ;)

    lol I come from Dark Souls, so no hand holding for me. What I meant is that the monster name appears sometimes on the lower left hand corner, but most of the time it doesn't.

    nice, i didn't play it myself. but i do hold respect for dark soul players :) anyway, lower left hand of the screen are the chatbox. so u might mistaken something here. personally, i don't remember any UI whatsoever in monster hunter that explains or even tell us about the name of the monsters. cmiiw
