    Well one time a villager of mine gave me a bamboo shoot.. (If you have the store upgraded to T&T Emporium, I think they sell bamboo shoot on random days so do check out everyday if you happen to see one!). Hope this helped! :3

    Ah well you need to have the following requirements if you want to upgrade to T&T: Four completed satisfactory Gracie Fashion Checks(I believe she comes in on random days so check out at the plaza if you do see Gracie), 100,000 Bells spent at T.I.Y, and 30 days passed since opening of T.I.Y Hopefully this helped as well!     Improve your relations with villagers, & one will give you a bamboo shoot. You need only one, for they propogate by runners ever third day or so. I grow many around cache ponds & north of the river. Dig & sell shoots you don't want for a significant profit.
