Guys, it's not cool to make posts telling kids that Santa doesn't exist. Let them have their childhoods. It's a time of innocence, a time where anything can happen. Why take that away from them? Just let them have their fun. Of course, you guys don't care what I have to say. You're just going to ignore this post and ruin the fun for kids, and really, who am I to stop you?

    @Tenshi: Santa is a symbol of childhood innocence. He symbolises the true meaning of Christmas, which is giving. Why not just let kids believe in what they wanna believe?

    Did I not say it was about giving? And yeah, I know it's about the birth of Jesus. Why would I celebrate Christmas every year if I didn't know that? My points still stand. It's not right to ruin it for the kids who still believe.

    He's a magical figure who supposedly gives out gifts to children around the world. How is that symbolising money and ignorance? I know that some corporate jerks use Santa to sell there stuff, but that's just them. And as for the whole ignorance thing, like I said, childhood innocence. It's not right to take that away from them.

    I was taught about Jesus being born. Christmas specials like A Charlie Brown Christmas or The Little Drummer Boy are about the story of Jesus, and those are two of the most well-known Christmas specials out there, so even that argument doesn't hold much weight.

    Even so, you need to let kids have their imagination. Yes, we're supposed to teach them right from wrong, but they should be allowed to have their imagination, too. Telling kids that Santa isn't real is taking that away from them.

    Whatever. Kids are always being taught the true meaning of Christmas. When their parents take them to church on Christmas, they're not told about Santa Claus, they're told the story of Jesus. I don't see what's so wrong about kids believing in something. Let them believe what they wanna believe.
