The dc rate is getting a bit absurd for me... regardless of inet quality, does anyone have a solution?

  • Nintendo made recent mention of error codes in the most recent Miiverse announcement. A phone number was listed as solution for a possible help/fix. Check it out and hopefully you'll get help.

  • don't have dc issues since i changed my wifi router. do you use wifi or a lan adapter? are there other devices using wifi at the same time? i know that using other consoles like xbox and playstation at the same time will cause dc issues because they require a lot of bandwidth. also streaming stuff like netflix and hulu at the same time will cause dc issues

  • I believe that was specifically for smash. Am I wrong?

  • that what was for smash? all the issues i listed are with using Wii U online with any game really. until i upgraded to a higher bandwidth for internet we couldn't game on Wii/Wii U and stream stuff or use other consoles at same time. it would always dc the nintendo not the other systems. although we could game using 2 Wii U's at same time no problems

  • the lan adapter would just give you a more reliable connection than using wifi

  • Allow me to clarify, my previous comment was directed at mention of a patch in progress, from what I've heard, that's just smash. When playing MH3U, without relation to inet, (other devices may still work without even slowdown, while the game refuses to allow entry to network mode.) the internet services will simply crash. Maybe a matchmaking error. I dunno what else to say right now.

  • i never have problems with other consoles and dc but will have dc issues on wii u if gf is using xbox or ps online. if we both are using our 2 wii u's then it will sometimes cause dc issues but not as much. just something about wifi and wii or wii u cause we similar problems when we used to use wii. it seems wii u is better with a lan adapter and wired connection instead of wifi.

  • you should go online and see if your wifi connection is a recommended device for wii u. they have a list of wifi devices that are more compatible with wii u or try to get a lan adapter and use a wired connection.

  • Heavylegs, if you see this, it's been a while. You still enjoying yourself I hope? As for internet, two years later, same irritation. :p AT&T isn't all that nice an ISP.
