you know that moment when you've played mh for so long that you have a mental switch into monster fighting mode? when you're able to see the moves before they happen? that's what mh is about for me, and is why no game will ever compare haha

    it's that feel of mastery, that sets this game apart from others, imo. in most games you simply level up to overpower everything, but mh makes you actually improve your skills, which is probably why it's unfortunately unpopular in the U.S. Well and the slow tutorial misions haha.

    that's precisely why games like this are judged so cruelly. because they are willing to do the things most games won't, without evolving like assassin's creed has where you're a one man army. and while i love assassin's creed it just doesn't have that fresh style of gameplay the mh series has or even that of alien isolation. another great game that was judged based on it's save system
