I think I'm in the minority when I say i'm glad mh4 is getting rid of water quests, THEY'RE SO FRUSTRATING!!! If they are ever put back pls capcom, fix the underwater controls!!!

  • Underwater controls were harder to control then land controls but it is still easy. I enjoy underwater fights. My only problem was that sometimes you think your right next to the monster but you like 10 feet away.

  • Actually I don't think we're a minority, most people complain about underwater battles and I even read fans did not like it before I get the game.

  • Will I do love them, MH3 was my first game so I just got used to it. Though no one can deny that they're SLOW as Hel'. I do hope to see lagi in MH4U, but the idea that fights will no longer be slow fills me with happiness. PS: Charge Axe all the way!!

  • it'd be better if there was a luring system for all water monsters so that they had to come on land to fight you. even in the opening video she didn't try to face the lagi until i came ashore. as for the ceadeus... well sometimes a village just has to sink, i guess.

  • it's somewhat harder. and need more patience. so i have nothing against it. btw one of the reason why it's not there on mh4 are suspectedly because of the 3ds aren't powerful enough -with all the new contents and everything. so sadly, it's rather a technical issue rather than policy. expect it to come back when newer mh comes out on more powerful console

  • Its really not a technical issue they did it on the portable version of 3u so obviously that isn't it. Capcom simply chose 2 abandoned it so they could improve land battles more and make the gameplay more dynamic and adventurous. Portable 3rd was another mh game they removed water from, sometimes capcom chooses not 2 have water and im fine with it since i love fast pace battles a lot more.

  • sadly your not a minority. The controls in water are fine, better than in reality. Try swimming in shark filled waters and you will understand how truly difficult it is to manage sight and perception despite best efforts. But do so safely.
