    Just keep trying and get used to his attacks. Only use the binder when he is flying near you, and instead of strength against all elements, try only for ones you get hit with the most.

    altereon weakness is ice and water his element are all of them head is 45 of damage neck is 40 chest is 35 front leg is 25 wing is 18 and tail is 30 damage hope it helps

    It helps if you can do the alatreon event in hr 4-6 in tanzia with someone else, so you can know his moves. I beat 3 with a friend, failed a TON, and beat the village one on my first try.

    well use switch axe(brachydios)fully upgraded and use zingore X armor take some bombs 2. place them when hes about to land after he done raining ice down from above only use the binder when hes in the air and make sure hes close to u when fire the binder. that how beat him. i was able to kil him 40 times solo, but thats how do it, u can check videos on youtube 2 see how 2 beat him

    GS doesnt lend itself well to the pace alatreon sets. Your max damage output takes too long to charge even with focus. I would recommend trying hammer. Big damage and good mobility to keep up with his pace.
