Question

Tonight, I'll attempt Mark of a Hero once more, but I'd like some extra tips first, what should I change on the Shakalakas to help me beat the quest?

    I used the Idol mask and Rathalos mask, which are both useful against the monsters.

    i used the ultimate mask and ancient mask if u want health make sure u have them assighned those dances if u need to use a trap on the ivry lagia when the tag starts play defenceve because they can end up killing each other recomended armor by many azure soul armor z hope this helps

    first get a weapon weak to one of the three monsters then make your strongest shaka laka have the weakness of the monster youre weakest too then make the other one have strength over the other monster then get weapon of white sharpness then have rathalos attack brachy enraging him then hide behind rathalos. you may need pitfall trap shock trap potions and mega potions then blue mushrooms herb etc.

    I personally like to use False Felyne mask on Cha-Cha, and Ultimate Mask on Kayamba. Just make sure you stay out of the bomb blasts! Unless you need it as a last-ditch save from a monster attack, lol.

    just so u know mark of the hero is listed as a grank hunt i would suggest trying to get into grank get some grank armor and then do M.O.T.H and yes u can get to grank solo after all i did it and i only had the 3ds

    I remember trying that quest. I think the most important note is to get a purple sharpness weapon. I prefer to have the shakas mostly as a distraction. I like the lamp and BBQ masks and equip with speedy recovery, guard boost, and agility boost. This will keep them in the fight longer, return to the fight sooner, and maybe dance faster (?). You can do G rank through port tanzia.

    the skill handicraft is elusive. I made temporary armor to get it quickly. If going for purple consider lagombi X helm, Selene X arm, Peco X waist, and Baggi X legs. It looks goofy, but you can spruce it up with any charm or chestpiece you want. And all the materials are easy to obtain. Easy purple weapons requires research. happy hunting!
