Nintendo's webpage for eShop special offers is listing the Wii U version of this game under "price drop" for $1.00. So why is it $4.99 when I go to the eShop??

    Upgrade from Wii? There's a guy on here who has had to call Nintendo a couple of times to get the upgrade discount.

    I don't think so. It's actually listed under the "Price Drops" section of the eShop Special Offers website. Maybe the sale kicks in on the 15th, like the $1 sale price on Whoa Dave...?

    It's $1.00 on mine. It says something along the lines of "since you have the wii virtual console version you can update to the wii u version for $1.00." It looks like Nintendo dropped the ball in advertising.

    I sent them an email to ask about it. Hopefully they'll extend the $1.00 deal to those of us who've noticed... but I won't hold my breath.
