Sony and Nintendo were developing a new console, Nintendo made the concept for a ps. Tho sony made the idea for a handheld-lookalike. But farther in to development sony decided to use discs, nintendo didn't agree with idea so they scrapped their deal with sony. Sony kept the ps and Nintendo makes their own goods.

Discs were always intended to have more gb. Nintendo started using them later, so they began using it at like (i don't know) the game cube. If you do a comparison with graphics that won't help. Because Nintendo makes unrealistic fun games, and sony makes fps games.

I never argued Sony had the better console, just that their visuals are stronger (which can't really be argued.) Nintendo fans and their 'us vs. them' mentality. Meteos, what do you consider their new franchises? Pikmin for example only dates back to the Gamecube, but it's one of Nintendo's strongest series IMO. You're free to your opinion, but statistically, Sony's gaming division is trouncing Nintendo, and has been for years.

First of all, that's not an argument. One of their series being worse than one of Nintendo's doesn't mean their catalog of series is worse. Second, I do believe it's just as good. All-Stars is even better than Smash as a 2v2 game. I don't get why Nintendo fans have such a problem with that game in particular.

I ran a troll channel on youtube called MyLifeForMicrosoft a few years back. I trolled both Nintendo and Sony fans and can tell you that Nintendo fans were several times more defensive, harsh and annoying. PS All Stars did not take Smash's concept. Crossover fighters were around before Smash at least as far back as the Capcom vs. series, and platform fighters date back to The Outfoxies.

Quality over Quantity? Nintendo takes alot of time to serve fun, not better graphics and games only aimed at mature people, other than a very limited selection games. Nintendo mixes a decent amount of mature games with less mature games, so that everybody can be entertained. Face it, Sony has messed with Nintendo too much. Parappa the Rapper, Jak and Daxter, Knack, Medievil, and Sly Cooper come immediately to mind. It was Jonatan who introduced the argument and he was the one who claimed Sony had an imbalance between "mature" and family friendly titles. I argued back on his own terms saying Nintendo had the greater imbalance. I don't personally think a game like Mario is less "mature."
