    Gotcha, the typical glory players, well you gotta learn to sheild and spot/air dodge close in on them, then punish (rolling is a horrible idea, a.k.a. the beginner's "invincible evade move" too laggy and you're vulnerable at the end of the roll). They may also roll away so learn to predict their movements, then punish. Jumping above projectiles when you're close and hitting them...

    People use Link and Spamus...i mean Samus on FG mode, all they (most of the time) do is going to the edge and spaming their cheap projectiles, a very good way to counter them is playing as Fox or Ness, Fox can reflect any kind of thrown stuff with his Down B, and Ness can absorb charge shot, as well as countering the camped Coward's Bow with PK Thunder, making those noobs to come after you

    with foward air or neutral air is great for projectile spammers. Spot/air dodging at the right time then punishing takes practice. good luck
