    To be fair, the Earthbound enemy Starman is also in the game. Maybe they did it to avoid confusion?

    It is called a Super Star if you are like 12. Back when I was young they were always called Starmen or Starman.

    You know what is great? A thing called "the world wide web" and with the world wide web you can fact check anything! They were called Starmen and you can look it up since you are likely too young to remember.

    You can argue that Nintendo changed their name to Super Stars (which is true) but you can't say they don't have an official name when that is simply factually incorrect.
