    I get to start winter break on the right foot this year. I finish my exams this Friday, then pack my bags and go to my friend's house for a party. No matter what happens, it'll be amazing.

    Why do teachers make such big deals of finals? For me it's only like 10% of your grade! Meaning even if you get a 0, you'll probably drop like 5%.

    For my school, the mid-terms and finals are separate grades from the class; meaning, I have a grade for the class and a grade for the exam on my report card.

    I view it as a good thing. I'd rather have a good grade in the class and a separate horrible grade on the exam. Or better yet, two good grades.
