Question

so skull kid didn't kill the butlers son becauseon dawn of a new day all the damage he caused was reversed but that brings two new questions... how did he give you his soul in the form of that mask... and who really did kill him?

    What leads you to believe damage was reversed? The regional afflictions ended, but I see no evidence that what was done had been undone. Zora Link joins the band right?

    but you guys have forgotten one thing, unless somehow all the time lines meshed together and only took the good parts, than that means in the 3 days before your battle you completed romani ranch, the couples quest, collected every fairy in every temple, ikana valley castle and the gibdos mask quest, collected all of the eggs for lulu, teaching the kumaro dance to the troupe.     you also would have to have done the bunny hood quest and the mystery milk quest too and thats just assuming everyone else was fine without your help as well. im just saying in the time allotted it would not be possible to do all that in the same cycle. which is why i believe although the cycle ended (dawn of a new day) the effects everyone was under due to skull kid and majoras mask were undone

    also can someone please explain to me how not only link somehow climbed out of the giant hole he fell into but also how he got epona out too? i know thats not exactly relevant to this post but still makes me wonder. also i have my own ideas on what the mask sales man is and why he faded into nothingness, but thats a theory for another post

    Justin, your curiosity and disbelief are well founded. The HMS is a huge intrigue, an inter-dimensional travelling enigma. By all means, share your thoughts on him. However, there is no scene in the ending that indicates any change in the three days. Link would have no need to correct any of those problems promptly once Majora fell.     rather tortured. This can be viewed in-game by returning to the Deku Palace immediately after learning the Sonata. With Majora gone, each boss loses existence, so the Deku Princess is freed and Woodfall Temple cleansed of poison. At Snowhead, where there is curiously no ending scene probably because of Darmani's sad loss, Goht was attackingbthe Goron Village. Darmani has dialogue about it. Again,

    i know its not answering your question, but that's one of the things I love most about this game. It leaves alot open ended and allows the player to infer their own conclusions about what exactly happened. If you look on youtube, there are dozens of theories revolving around this game.

    the defeat of Majora snaps the cold. Similarly, Lulu's voice returns when the Temple she was meant to guard loses the fiendish corruption of Gyorg. We never see hatched eggs in the ending though.     weocome change in the remake from a story standpoint. Link is exempt from the suffering of Termina as the time travelling hero, but I firmly believe all of the awful stuff Skull Kid's puppet strings caused doesn't just fade. The agents of malevolence do, and Termina is saved, but hardship went on. Anju in the wedding dress is the puzler though. The fact that we don't see Kafei builds the mystery.

    Just to address a couple other concerns, the Stray Fairies would have roamed free for that ending scene. That's minor. The hole? It's a game man. Link calls Epona w/ the Ocarina vast distances in an instant. If he transformed and used a Deku Flower to get back to Hyrule's Lost Woods, he wouldn't even have the blasted mask in a third Hero of Time installment if one was ever made.
