Tbh, you only need 6iv pokemon if you are using a mixed attacker. Nah, course the DE aren't unbeatable, just very accomplished, experienced battlers. Some have all 6iv pokemon, most will stop at 5 if they are in the right place and fits their requirements. Sure you can try out to be a DE at some time, once you have proven yourself in battle, tho!
If you're truly good enough having perfect Pokemon doesn't even matter, I've seen people sweep entire legendary teams with magikarps, that's how good they are. :p
@ May. You can show a BV of your mono-team in action, then if deemed good enough, can try out for a spot. However, there will be competition for most places, plus some are locked. Anyway, gtg guys catch you all tomorrow.
Cynthia I haven't seen you battle yet, but I hope you're not overestimating the DE! Although we're very experienced and skilled, we're not unbeatable and you don't have to be god-skilled to join. Let's say "good among competitive players" is the line to cross. At least for vacant spots. For taken spots you'll need to beat the current elite, mono vs mono, which is easier said than done.
As for the whole alucard thing, I saw that name SO many times throughout my internet life, never understanding it. I know ALU stands for Arithmetical Logical Unit, and card could be like you know, a graphics card. I think that logic is used behind the name in some contexts, but yeah it's most likely the dracula mirror.

Vinny your luck keeps worsening. But, you should take it as a test! You should be able to handle it, and then be super awesome. I don't think May will get a team ready before your test tho, unless she gens her mons, or uses showdown.
