@ Ace. Bowen shouldn't have told you that. It's not how it works. Normally you would need to be tested but considering there's so many people after it, the solution would be a mini-tourney. Then the winner can be tested. Looks like Bowen doesn't want it any more so it can be considered vacant. I suggest anyone who wants dragon, stake your claim here and we can arrange said tourney.

just test every1, i feel with how you're making people do mono battles THEN be tested, some people can become elites when there team is better against mono type teams, not challenger teams.

@ Turtle, tbh, it's the best, most fairest way to do it. Also, as the winner also gets tested, there's no assurance they will get the spot.

@Turtle I see your point and thought of it, being good against mono teams means nothing if your job's gonna be fight reg teams. But there's other stuff to consider. The first and most obvious is that testing multiple candidates is quite a hassle, especially considering that only one tester has to do it. Now, let's say we ignored that and went ahead, there're many undesirable outcomes...
A) No candidate's good enough.
B) All candidates (or more than one) are good enough.
First is a waste of time, second forces at least one mono vs mono battle.
But, it could also happen that the process of manually testing everyone takes a crazy amount of time for technical reasons. It's been almost a week since Vinny beat Nick and no one was able to test him. It gets worse...
In the time the tester tries to digest all tests, more candidates would accumulate, and it's theoretically possible that it could take like a year. Dragon being so popular, it's not a crazy thought that something like this can happen.
Considering all this and probably more I'm forgetting, we better settle this quick. It may not be the absolute fairest idea, but it's by far the most efficient, and it's no atrocity really. It's always been the way here that if more than one candidate exists, they make the pre-selection process themselces. A tournament makes this less of a problem for the aspiring elites.

As for the dragon tourney, I guess everyone should first make their teams, announce them and then we can match them. First two to get their teams start off, then we see as it comes.

dragalege was actually a dragon i concidered using in my mono dragon BEFORE or/as came out as it would help to get rid of fairy's, glad to see know that its viable.
We got another participant, a friend of mine. He should be here soon. He wanted to try out his team against me first, but I don't have my 3DS, so I sent him here to try it.

@fab its going on now, you could battle Warlock. I guess that some that stated an intention to go for the spot can challenge at a later date if the are not around now.
