Best way to counterteam in dragon vs dragon is to sash everything lol. Good thing it's not legal here. On a completely unrelated topic, last night I figured out the notes of Wily's Castle theme from Mega Man 2 and learned it on my keyboard. I need to practice it a bit but I do it decently well. Amazing moosic.

I only said ice type wc's can't be used so that there's no accusations of counterteaming. If megataria is used, there can't really be any accusations of counterteaming, as they are both more than welcome to use it.

@Chibi I stated before that for this tournament no ice or fairy WCs are allowed. @Silver you can't ban a non WC lol. Mega Salamence could still touch it if it sets up along or before Altaria. Intimidate would trouble a physical set. @Xem will check out, thanks!

@ Turtle. I think Warlock had a steel wc. Personally i don't see a problem with it as it covers both dragon weaknesses, plus it can't really be seen as counter-teaming.

correct. its the same reason that in tourny's for DE, whenever that happens, they are concidered having an advantage. EX: Dragons against fire/water/grass/elect, dragons have advantage.

oh yeh, i'm aware of that but in this instance i think it's fair to have a steel wc plus the same applies to both parties. In the DE tourneys tho, i believe the points awarded are adjusted accordingly for type advantage/disadvantage.

@Turtle/ Chibi steel only resists dragon, unlike ice or fairy that hit it super effectively without being weak to it. Besides most dragons have access to Earthquake or Flamethrower.

Also Turtle, Dragon is considered to have advantage against types it resists for the DE tourney because it's at least 5 grass types vs 5 at least dragons. Obviously the dragon elite has the upper hand. Now, when there's just one resisting mon that doesn't hit you super effectively it's pretty acceptable; most teams have a pokemon like that and it's a small threat.
