    Also, the AI isn't useless. It's oddly satisfying to fly toward a target, only to see it taken care of by your wing-man.

    um, what? if you're asking about how much it was, mine was 39.99 plus tax, because physical cartridge. Digital downloads may or may not be taxed depending on where you live. if not, it's a flat 39.99, and if taxed, it varies.

    Also, as for replayability, there are many things to unlock in the game, and a few medals to earn. the really great stuff costs a ton, and challenge mode allows you to replay missions to increase your performance in them, and your high score.

    This game definitely has it's ups and downs. It reminds me of a game on my PS2... "Rebel Raiders: Operation Nighthawk," I fell in love with that game, so I've been looking for a good dogfighter ever since. This looks like the one! Thank you for the help!

    Also, if you want to up the inherent difficulty by about 300%, you can switch your controls to classic, and turn Action Maneuvers off. Action maneuvers allow you to let the game put you behind the enemy for a good shot, and also allow you to evade missiles with a simple QTE bit. Classic mode changes the controls from just "point the stick and that's where you'll go" to, "hold the stick left [con]

You can also yaw with the D-pad left and right slightly. this makes the game so much more demanding, and brings back the difficulty I had with previous titles- which I find to be NOT a bad thing. Everything I do feels more rewarding-I'm not just going on rails to let the game line me up- I'm doing that MYSELF.

    I like to call this "True Classic Mode" where all the skill you have is truly yours, and you have to be constantly in control of your aircraft, what angle it's at, everything. THIS is what I expect from Ace Combat. Anything else is just Easy Mode.
