    iv stands for individual values if a pokemon has a perfect iv then the stat is at the highest it could possibly be(with the right nature) so haveing six ivs means that pokemons stats are at the highest they can be and that is very desirable in competitive play

    no problem, but just so u know it is impossible to get one wild, u have to breed for ivs so id recomend going on youtube and looking up "the ultimate pokemon breeding guide" it will explain it better than i can
