Blaming the 3DS version for the Ice Climbers is one thing. The 3DS version is NOT the reason we got so many clone characters, and it's not the reason the other characters are gone. This is just another shining example of why this fanbase is absolute garbage.

    Clone characters were originally not going to be in the game and started as palette swaps. T changed to full characters because Sakurai and took very little time to create and implement. No, they didn't "steal any spots".

    It's not really a big deal to have the same characters on both versions. I only have a 3DS and I would have been fine if the Ice Climbers were Wii U exclusive.

    @Andrius, I too would have been fine with the IC being WiiU exclusive, only because that way all the IC fanboys (No offense to you if you like them) would finally shut up.

    I know a lot of people say that just one of them should be playable and you can just change to a Popo or Nana costume, and I can see where they're going with that, but that takes away what made the characters special, don't you think?

    I don't see what the big deal is. They only seemed to become suddenly popular when they were cut. Same goes for Mewtwo.

    And yet Mewtwo's DLC while Ice Climbers aren't, which proves that they were just not gonna cut it in SSB4.
