Wait. Rosie is a ginger. Cailou is bald. Both of their parents have brown hair. Could Cailou and Rosie just have different genetics? Or is there a much darker story???

I actually thought the same thing. I assume that if Rosie wasn't adopted, it's because Daddy's hair is graying, but it was brown before gray. Just like my dad.
