Hurrah! I have the Gilded Sword! After trying to get the Mirror Shield before entering any of the temples, I ran into a thirsty Gibdo that wanted some milk blocking my passage to the shield, and I doubt the watered down stuff the Gorman brothers sell would suffice. So I ended up beat the Woodfall and Snowhead temples.
