I finally got round to watching Bayonetta on blu-ray and I enjoyed it a lot. Shouldn't be an 18 rating though. It should really be classed as a 15 rating. Any way for those that haven't seen it yet, it's a must watch anime.

Is it really? I stopped buying animes based off of video games after desasters like dead space and Devil May Cry so have been very apprehensive about buying more.

As far as animes based on games go this was really entertaining. Devil May Cry was awful yes but this was good.

I'm glad im not the only one that thought so. My brother and others say DMC was awesome.......i say it missed all the crazy, stylish action that made Dante such an iconic figure in gaming. Might have to check out Bayonetta then. Love the games so i should have seen it by now lol. But next time at HMV i'll have a look for a copy ;b

My brother loves it also and was surprised when I told him I didn't like it. I don't really watch many animes. I think that the last anime box set I bought was Panty & Stocking which was so funny. You have to watch that.

That sounds.........well it sounds like it should be on an age 18 rated web site lol. Whats it actually about? And i used to watch alot of anime but haven't for years. Watched most stuff from Tatsunoko (why i love their crossover game with capcom so much ^.^) and just bits and bobs like Ghost in the shell (movies and series) heat guy J, Dragonball lol. But yeah, should get back into the genre.

@Ryan: Panty & Stocking is kind of like the adult version of the Power Puff Girls. It's about 2 angels who were banished from heaven for being naughty and they have to fight ghost in order to return. I like the live action explosions at the end of each episode. They make papiermâché models of the ghosts then blow them up. (So funny) It's 18 rated because it has adult stuff in it.

@DMA64: If you've played the first game than that's basically what the anime is about. It great, beautifully done and you can understand what the angels are saying so you don't need to focus on the subtitles.

Personally though if I had to choose my favourite anime it would have to be My Neighbour Totoro. I constantly watch it with the family and if I feel blue it cheers me up a bit. That movie is a childhood classic.

Yeah i was joking about the age rating.......but saw a few clips on you tube and i see why it is lol. It's animation is definitely western influenced and yeah the transformation scene.........artistic O.O????????? LOL but yeah looks like fun. I think their are even a few full episodes so i may watch them at some point ^,^

Love the transformation scene and the song I just had to download from iTunes. I also like the song for Scanty and Kneesocks. If you don't know who they are they're the rivals of Panty and Stocking but they're devils. Their transformation scene was great also but sadly it's only on one episode.

Oh it's not one that playes in every episode like traditional transformation scenes. Thats a little weird but i've seen it once and it's pretty hard to forget it lol. And yeah i saw devils in some of the videos but didn't click on them. Is the show english dubbed (if so is it good dubbing lol).

I will (^-^) Like i say i've seen an episode on you tube i might watch later so thank you for opening my eyes to something i knew nothing about (^o^) I'm just playing Alien Isolation at the moment though. Didn't get much chance at christmas but now got a free night and want to progress as i'm just loving it. Getting tense and scaring myself s-less is my kind of thing :b lol

Enjoy your game. It scared the heck out of me. It's actually the only Alien game that's any good. It's really hard too. You could hide anywhere and it will find you and then it's GAME OVER!

OH YES I AM (^o^) I am a huge fan of the Alien Franchise. I watched the second movie when i was like 7 so, while scared out of my mind, i just loved it. The first movie is my favourite though and i'm so glad they created a game around one alien as it captures the essence of that movie so well. I love survival horror games to so this is a match made in heaven for me. It captures that feeling of

dread whenever the creature appears and the sense of helplessness too. Whenever my traker goes off i'm usually checking where i can hide lol. And yes the alien is intelligent too which makes for a hard yet wonderfully challenging game. It's my favourite Alien game, much, MUCH better than the junk that was colonial marines. AI shows that for CM its (to quote Hudson) GAME OVER MAN, GAME OVER
