    Oh, trust me -- I've died plenty while playing the first game. It's hard to get used to all of the controls. I figure that if you ever played Devil May Cry, the controls should be easier for you. Don't tunnel vision and definitely try to activate Witch Time as much as possible to inflict maximum damage. Maybe also switching the difficulty could help, too.
