I'm not the only one who thinks burn and/or paralysis are overpowered,right? I mean, 1.Only a select number of pokemon are immune to them ( Fire-types/pokemon with water veil for burn and Electric types/pokemon with limber for paralysis) unlike (bad) poisoning, which Poison-types, Steel-types, and pokemon with immunity are immune to. 2.They have TWO effects instead of ONE. TBC

    Also, recover doesn't work on burns.

    Burn deals damage at the end of every turn and HALVES(emphasis on HALVES>:c) the victim's attack stat.Paralysis has a chance of stopping the victim from moving and HALVES (again, emphasis on HALVES>:C) the speed stat. Both burn and paralysis are extremely crippling, and if they each had just one effect, maybe I wouldn't be so mad. TBC

    As they stand though, I feel burn and paralysis are almost stealth rock level unfair....almost.

    To Kiryu: Recover isn't meant to heal status ailments though. It's meant for regaining health.

    Oh, I meant the wrong move. Theres a move that heals status issues, and the only thing it doesn't cure is burn.

    You mean Refresh? That heals anything except infatuation, confusion, sleep, and freezing.That includes burn.
