Question

What is happening? Whenever i jump i am surrounded in a blue-ish yellow-ish electricy light. Is it an item? Or a new ability for Greninja? I have found new abilities like this highspeed punch but what is this?

    Its called a screw attack. its an item from metroid. its also samus's recovory. Ps. None of the characters has secret abilities except for i think lucario, who gets stronger depending on how much damage he's taken.

    Yeah, it's called the Screw Attack. It's from Metroid. They're kind of small, and you equip them like a Metal Box. Basically it allows anyone to do an improved version of Samus's Up B. Improved because it simply replaces your jump animation, so it can be done twice in row, and it doesn't send you into a helpless state so you can follow up with another attack.

    By secret abilities i mean like some combinations of moves that have special effects. like once Greninja kept doing this wierd thing with water instead of kicking and punching when i press A

    Oh you mean smash attacks? they are just attacks that are stronger. you have to press the left, right, up, or down and quickly hold A at the same time.

    Are you talking about his neutral aerial, where he put's his hand together and makes a splash of water? Each character has five different aerial based which direction you're holding the control stick. Neutral, Forward, back, Down, and Up.
