A sigh came from the women down stairs. "At least take your meal from me.I shant have you starve yourself to death" she called out. After a few moments of silence he walked down and took the food from her.

Peter stormed up to his room. after picking up his mess, she quietly called back to him, and walked away. "Goodnight, Peter..." In his room he sat in the window, hugging his knees and staring at a star.

    "The second star on the right." he wispered in awe to himself. "Thats where my mother is, i can feel it.." After some time he pulled out his only friend, the pan. He was a gifted young boy on the pan, at only the age of 8. It felt like magic. As he gazed at the star, he started to play a tune he thought up earlier. (The tune to "when you wish upon a star")

    Kevin leaned in, towering over Peter and forcing him to bend backwards to avoid awkward face connection. But Peter wasnt scared. He leaned forward and did the same to Kevin. "You dont have a mother. She abandoned you !d!0+." Kevin told him. "She is real! She is waiting for me!" He punched Kevin square in the jaw and ran out the room, only to be caught from his sleeve by his "Mother" "Peter!"

He grabbed his flute, climbed out the window, and ran away. By the time he reached a park, it was night out. and he rested on a bench right under the Star. The shadow was still there.

I'm going to find my mother."

Peter said, chills running down his spine. "You have already seen me. I'm always there. I'm your shadow." with that, peter turned around, truly freightened. His shadow never looks like him.
