Oh how I wish Nintendo would stop ruling my respectful reasonable posts as 'offensive' and 'hurtful'. Utterly preposterous and patriarchical beyond remedy. If I could leave Miiverse...but I want to play with their wares so I can't! Joke's on me for letting myself be abused by their nostalgia.

    I'm sorry.. "patriarchial"? If that means under the distinct rule of men abive women, I'm confused. If not I'm sorry to have spread the confusion.

    Hi! Patriarchical means a form of social control, by using claims to moral authority to control someone's thoughts and actions. 'To decide what is best' for someone else. It comes from a social context in which that control is associated w/ [male] heads of family, but anyone can try to use their moral authority in that way.
