    I used to get really depressed when someone would tell me that my work was "just ok" or point out mistakes. It hurts when people don't seem to like what you've spent time & effort putting out. But I eventually learned the difference between constructive criticism & people trying to tear down my work. Ultimately, a *GOOD* critic has the same goal as you-to help your work be the best it can be.

    Once I realized that, it was less painful. :P I really hope that you'll get to the point where you can take the good part of a critique (the actual "advice") & toss the bad parts (rudeness, blunt delivery, opinion statements, etc) out. :] In history, some of the most successful books & ideas were once considered silly or stupid & not worth anyone's time.

    im sorry this was a long time ago, like a day ago :(before you apologized): i was really hurt be carefull who you criticise or else something like this will happen again...im sorry i over reacted what you said really :REALLY: hurt my feelings alot i hate criticism it just makes me wanna quit i dont see it as help my dad already hates my book enough it made me want to just stop writing anything

    ever again. criticism to me just seems like hate for something and pointing it out just to hurt them. i have problems with things like that....and once i get depressed i cant stop it..im sorry...X(
