Question

how do you do debug mode that let you turn into any item because I keep pressing up down left right hold y press start but it just put me to the stage select screen so can anybody help me?

    that was the debug mode 1 you can find an S box to go Hyper Hyper is more powerful you have a Double jump with hyper sonic!

    sonic 2 [genesis] debug mode: go to level select go to sound test [ sonic with headphones ] play sounds 01, 09, 09, 02, 01, 01, 02, 04. the super sonic code is 04, 01, 02, 06. When selecting your level hold a till sonic appears on the screen. thats it good luck.

    for sonic 2 [genesis] stage select go to options then go to sound test play sounds 19, 65, 9, 17. press start to return to title. When sonic and tails appear hold a and press start. :]
