    theres a good free book i know called 'what to draw and how to draw it' by Lutz. its a old book on archive*org and it couldn't be any more simple to follow but its very effective. i learned lots from it

    you're welcome ^^ im glad to help. sometimes i think about being a art teacher but not at a school. also if you are looking for free character books the stuff by andrew loomis is on the archive site too. hes considered to e like the father of american comic book art and all the greats learned from him

    his books are grewt but its lots of reading and difficult to understand too. oh yeah theres also a treatise on painting by the great leonardo da vinci on archive but the translation is difficult to read
