[Did You Know] - The Six Medallions given to Link in Ocarina of Time were intended to have a unique magical ability each but the concept was scrapped early in development. It remains unknown what these abilities would've been, but it's assumed that the Fire Medallion would've functioned identically to the Din's Fire item in the final game.

    Also the light medalion had something to do with a light tunic. Which (my guess) maybe was an early mirror shield. For instance what if when Link went into the future, he was given the light tunic as well as the light medalion?!
