How do I tell how many IVs/EVs my Pokemon have? And what is considered good for natures of Pokemon? What natures do people look for in trades?

  • For EVs, you wont be able to find out the exact number unless you're keeping track of it on your own while training your pokemon or if you find a reset bag. When you go to the super training menu, the Yellow shape shows what stats your EVs are in and the yellow bar on the right shows how close you are to it being full or not.

  • It takes a while to find a reset bag in super training but it looks like an all white punching bag that you can sometimes get from tapping the blank punching bag in the super training screen. Make sure to get rid of other bags so that you have space for bags you find too.

  • If you do find an all white training bag. Save before using it then use the reset bag on the pokemon you want to find out what its EVs was. Select the bag so that you can tap it on the super training screen and it will eventually break. After that, it will say your pokemon's stats have been reset. The numbers it shows for each stat are the EVs that your pokemon had before you reset them.

  • After you see what its EVs were, you can reset the game to the last save point before you used the bag so that you can get the reset bag back to see what another pokemon's EVs are.

  • As for IVs, I think I mentioned the other day that you had to use an IV calculator on the internet for that one. Knowing how to reset the EVs will help loads on that though. Serebii and Psypokes are two sites that both have IV calculators. Serebii's is more complicated but gives more accurate results while Psypokes has a quick and easy to use IV calculator

  • As for natures, that kinda depends on which pokemon. Some pokemon prefer to have different natures based on their stats and what moves they have.
