I am having some real difficulties getting the hang of ball control. I'm playing rallyball but I keep running out of time and I don't feel like I'm actually improving. If there was an untimed mode I could just casually figure it out that would be ideal.

    I'm using the gamepad. I've started getting a little better after doing a butt-ton of rallyball. I'm doing cool moves accidentally with greater frequency. I just have to learn how to intentionally do them.

    have you taken a look at the game's manual? You can read a description of each bird's ability and purpose in the field. Some birds are meant for tackling the opponent to lose them time and summon a ball but are horrible at aiming and nearly impossible to score with. Which makes them useless in solo matchs but really effective in team play.

    I didn't notice that part of the manual somehow when I was reading through it before. That helps a bunch actually knowing what each bird is meant for.
