    Hey speaking of before internet and Fridays, TGIF anyone? I think Boy Meets World was the best by the time TGIF ran it's course. That and Hangin' with Mr. Cooper stood the test of time the best. I still like this pony show too. I'm half-way through season 3.

    @Trevor: I was never a fan of ABC's TGIF shows. Plus, in the early 90's, most of my Friday evenings were spent watching anime with friends or playing RPGs. Also, I did have the internet in those days, back before it became popular and commercialized (and cost like $4 per hour).

    No cable... We only had the 3 major networks plus PBS. Families were closer then, because there was only 1 TV in the house, and everyone didn't have their face buried in an iPad or Gameboy. No iPods or walkmans either, so kids couldn't tune out with headphones.

    Yup so true. I had actual friends irl not just online. I didn't care much for my family/home life...so was always at someone else's house...with real people! Seems like such a long time ago.

    @Lum Aw man you had access to anime in the early 90s that's sweet. That makes sense given your Mii. I didn't until the late 90s. Before then all I had was what was on antenna tv, Dragon Warrior, Ronin Warriors, and then Sailor Moon. Admittedly TGIF did become stale by comparison to me by then. Except for Boy Meets World I still like that.
