    First chose the darkest version of the color you will use. Put that color on the side where the light is not coming from. Then pick the next darkest color. Put that color next to the darkest color. Keep going lighter. After that, get the smudge stick and blend those colors together. Push the ? button if you dont know what the smudge stick is. Its at the top corner when you pick your color

    Identify where the source of light is first. Draw shadows where the light cannot reach, for example, the right side of the skull. This is a spherical object, so it wouldn't hurt to search for some reference pictures online to get a better idea. Just try shading in some areas and figure out if it looks right. That's pretty much what I do.
