I really don't see why everyone was raving so much about this game. I guess it's a decent game, but the characters are obnoxious and there's a lot of fake difficulty. I haven't played Bayonetta 2 yet because I wanted to play them in order. Would you guys say Bayonetta 2 is better?

    because this is a game that's dare to be honest and just kicks ur ego right in the balls i and many others have Pure Platinum this game on infinite climax difficulty. every mistake always felt ours, and we cursed ourself everytime we make one there are some trolls like the QTE, but that's not difficulty. u rage & curse once, but if it's still get u the 2nd time, proly u're playing too much AC

    about the characters and stuff, do understand that this is an old game. like 80's old. games at those times never need to worry about characters. back then, games wasn't interactive movies like it is now. also it's not funded with heavy budget nor have to make us happy to guarantee a sequel. therefore, they never tuned down the difficulty like most yearly franchises nowadays do.

    The thing is, the game does try to be an interactive movie at times. The perverted stuff is just awkward and irritating. Difficulty doesn't bother me; I'm 31 years old, so I understand old school hard games. I just find that the camera ends up being a problem, and the QTEs are somewhat arbitrary. That said, I am enjoying Bayonetta 2 a lot more.

    to be fair, i guess they did tried a bit... and fail, hahaha the perverted stuff... well i just equip link's costume and tried playing it in front of my wife. no comment whatsoever :D camera work we'll just agree to disagree x) they actually developed a system where enemy won't attack u if they're out of sight *see angel slayer faqs -how to beat jeane with pillow talk

    i hope u don't mind some friendly argument, mate :) it's just that, i really "get" this game. like, i could get through to kamiya and co.'s thoughts, feelings, and motives when designing most aspects in the game -that most people just don't get. but yeah, bayo 2 is a far more gamer friendly game! i guess nintendo's supervising team really threw a lot of their advices on that one.

    I don't mind friendly discussion at all! Everyone has games they love and games they do not love, and those don't always overlap. In fact, I'm glad you posted -- sometimes reading why other people like a game helps me to appreciate the game more. Thanks for your comments!
