    Your picture is unclear. Is that the place where there's a closed door, strange ledges and a wierd purple emblem on the ground? If so, the purple thing is a pressure plate, and to activate it, you need to land on it from a high altitude. High enough that Bayonetta's feet look like they've got a purple meteor trail coming off of them, like in the previous falling section.
