    Please provide reasons. Personally, I have two answers: 1. The obvious answer-Red, Blue and Yellow (Because of the Geneunners who treat them like the greates thing ever) 2. HGSS. They're really just a Kanto expansion pack. BW2 had more content, and people praise them for the aftergame, which I always found pretty dull and repetitive.

    1 and 2 because the engines were horrific, XY because plot, balance, pacing, etc., and ORAS because it did very little to fix the flaws in the orignal release (and even overcompensated) and was unmemorable. B2W2 does not go onto this list because no only do I think it was done very well, but something that the majority of fans were not very enthusiastic about cannot, by definition, be overrated.

    Good points. Although I still loved ORAS personaly. About the water though, it has a symbolic purpose i the game: it makes the map half land and half water. Plus, removing some sea routes would be drastically changing they layout of Hoenn. And they did do something to help with the water: Some pokemon have unique surfing sprites, and Sharpedo has 2X surfing speed. You're right about the HMs thoug
