    It's a time saver. Made my team less useless. They're always about 10 levels behind my Blaziken Blazestar, but are powerful. My Swellow Janaff is OP. Nowi and Stahl are proud of Janaff.

    Point being taken, it makes the game too easy. It's what ruined the game experience for me in X and Y. I've seen channels like WiiRikeToPray and AbdallahSmash that are 20 levels above the next upcoming gym leader. And it's not a Challenge Run to me. It's as close to reliving my old Emerald as I can.

    If you ask me, Pokémon is about the clutch moments whenever you just barely secure a win against a strong opponent, and the screaming of your lungs to finding a shiny Pokémon.

    @Lostriky: The part about finding Shinies affect pretty much everybody who plays this. As for intense battles, battling against other people will serve you better than any AI fight the Maison can provide.

    lol unfortunately, the only in-game trainer that caught me off-guard was Johto's Normal Gym Leader, Whitney. I doubt that people will be caught off-guard by anyone else at this point.

    yes, it is for casual gamers. that's not a bad thing. it saves time, which i only have so much of. maybe if i retire someday, i'll go back to being a 'hardcore' gamer then, but for now, i'm glad that nintendo is putting mechanisms in their games that will allow casual gamers like me to experience them more efficiently...
