Hey! Weel Kirby got an upgrade! Mario games should take a note from Kirby and start upgrading their power ups. It really helps make even games like Triple deluxe that have the same engine and mechanics as other games like Return to Dreamland feel fresh and new just seeing all the stuff they added to older power ups. That would've definitely helped "New" Super Mario bros.

    Agreed, New Super Mario Bros is becoming stale. Maybe NSMB3 will change that?

    After New Super Luigi U essentially made CoD look like an innovation in the world of gaming, I doubt it. TBH, I only ever liked the one on DS. Not only was it another new idea/craze that inspired great games after it, but the power ups really changed the game, the pacing was much better IMO and the multiplayer was ironically better.

    Meh, NSMBW was meant to be played in multiplayer. I did that the whole way through and still love the game. Did a speed run with another really skilled player not that long ago. NSMBU was just NSMBW with a new power up... So it was good, just repetitive. While I like NSMB2, it's easily the worst in the franchise.

    I actually did play most of NSMBWii with my brother. We used to love the original Mario bros. We played it all the time along with Smash 64 and Mario kart 64. But this? Meh, too chaotic. Heck, I'd go so far as to say NES Super Mario brothers had a better multiplayer experience.

    It wasn't too chaotic. Sure you'll get in each other's way, but there was no penalty for "game over" so who cares? Of course SMB was better. Can't beat the classics, right? I did Mario Kart 64 and Smash 64 with my brother too... Only me being the younger sibling would always get stuck as player 2, so he chose everything we did. What about you?

    I played Mario kart, what do you think? XD Occasionally we'd play like Sonic 2 or something (in which I'd always win), though he successfully got me to stop by pressing the fast forward button on the emulator until I gave up and said "Fine, let's play Smash." In Smash it was Hyrule castle only. His main was Fox, I liked playing Kirby, but I could only beat him occasionally with Ness.

    Haha, I've been there. Although... Looking back I actually won on occasions. I don't know, maybe 1 in 4 games? Anyway, I was pretty much always Yoshi or DK whereas he was Mario... So I take it you put quite a few hours into the N64 library, ever try Glover or other rather obscure titles?

    Oh yeah I tried Glover. Played it for awhile, never beat it. I definitely played alot of N64, but believe it or not, I actually spent more time on GBA.

    I spent my share of time on GBA, but moved to DS pretty quick. So as a result, I'm still playing the GBA library today. I beat glover, great ending you should go back sometime. I've always wished big N would buy him out, and make another game... Or any company really. I'd buy a PlayStation 4 for Glover.
