I hate to say it, but Mega Pikachu DOES kinda seem like a thing that'll happen...I mean, Ash and Pikachu have the "strong bond" down pat, and it wouldn't be an evolution Pikachu'd be afraid of.

    But a Mega would be an anime-and-merchandise benefit instead of a game benefit. The franchise would still get a boost as a whole. ...Even if it makes people rage.

    Yeah... sadly. I am still speechless that they changed Pikachus voice in Gen. VI. Before you could have said "Pokémon saying their name is something that only happens in the anime!", but now... I hate these little things, but I love the franchise in general. Everything has its flaws. <3

    Exactly. They haven't done that since Pokemon Yellow. Although I guess it makes sense, because Santalune Forest is an exact copy of VIRIDIAN Forest. That YouTuber, Dookieshed, absolutely despises Pikachu. It was hilarious to see his reaction when he saw an X&Y Pikachu for the first time.
