( Um...thats a bit too OP for me. If Houndoom had a critical hit that made it go into the yellow zone I'd be fine with that move not K'Oing but since your pokemon already had less than half (yellow zone) of its HP and Houndoom's move had enough damage to take it out. Your making yourself OP. )
